Hello fellow adventurers. With E3 just ended this week, many new VR
games were announced! So here are 20 of our favorite upcoming PC VR games that
we want to play… straight away. If only that was possible… Let’s just get started! #1 Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency
Budget Cuts 2: Mission Insolvency is the sequel to Budget Cuts. Budget Cuts is set in a robotic future where
it seems like humanity is being optimized out of existence. As a human yourself, you want to do something
about this. Last time you escaped the TransCorp office
just in time, but it wasn’t over. So in this sequel, the story continues. Budget Cuts is a stealth VR game that you
can play slow or fast. In this new game there will be new environments,
enemies, gadgets and challenges. If you haven’t played Budget Cuts before,
we recommend doing it, but the devs say you can also play this game without playing the
first one. Get ready because if it’s anything like
the first one, it will get intense! #2 Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot
Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is a VR game by Bethesda. It’s set in 1980. You are the best hacker living in Paris and
your mission is to help the French resistance against the Nazis in an alternate universe
where they have won the 2nd World War. As a hacker, you can turn their own war machines
against them. You will take control of a variety of different
robots and mechs. There isn’t much info on the gameplay yet,
it looks like a shoot ‘em up game from the trailer, but visually it does look good. #3 BattleWake
Survios, the developers of Sprint Vector and Raw Data is coming with a new game called
BattleWake! This is a seafaring combat game where you
will play as a Pirate Lord! You’ll captain a massive battle ship while
engaging in epic sea wars. This is going to be an interesting one. I mean… Look at that Kraken! #4 The Walking Dead: Onslaught VR
And that wasn’t all, Survios announced another game they will be releasing this year. The Walking Dead: Onslaught VR. In the game, you become one of the survivors
and a lot of the weapons from the show will be made available to you. Think about crossbows and samurai swords. As fans of the series ourselves we are really
looking forward to be immersed into this zombie universe or actually, maybe we should brace
ourselves instead. #5 ABE VR
Next on the list is ABE VR which is a new horror game that is coming up! And while we are horror babies, we still wanted
to mention this one because this game is based on a short film called ABE which was about
a robot in search of love but without understanding what it means. This often made him do very twisted things. A free VR experience based on this film was
made after and it was one of our first VR experiences ever we tried on the Oculus DK2
so it really has like a nostalgia feeling to us now. The same developers, are working on a new
psychological horror game also based on this film and it is really looking scary. #6 Sniper Elite VR
Sniper Elite is a tactical shooter game developed by Rebellion. They are releasing a VR version of the game
this year, Rebellion’s first VR game actually. The name says it already, in this game you
become a sniper in the Italian resistance fighting gainst the Nazis in World War II. It is set prior to the events of the latest
flat game Sniper Elite 4 in case you’ve played it. While the flat games were in 3rd person, the
VR version will be in first person to make it as immersive as possible. It looks really cool to me, so I’m very
curious to see what this game will be like. #7 Pistol Whip
Pistol Whip is a VR rhythm shooter by Cloudhead Games, the developer of The Gallery. It is a fast-paced game where it isn’t as
important to accurately aim. Rather it is more important to be able to
react fast enough. The developers say that it is like a combination
of Beat Saber with Superhot. It is a title that does not look like an ordinary
game so we are definitely looking forward to trying it out. #8 BoneWorks
BoneWorks is a narrative VR action adventure by Stress Level Zero, the developers of Duck
Hunt and Hover Junkers. They are putting years of experience into
this game and it looks like it is really paying off. The game features advanced experimental physics
mechanics making it possible to do almost any accurate interactions with the virtual
objects. Something we find important to make a VR game
immersive, but it is also very hard to accomplish. Judging from the trailer the mechanics look
like something we haven’t seen before in other VR games. It also looks like it will fully make use
of the finger tracking and capacitive controls of the new Index Controllers. I think this is going to be the game in 2019
to look out for. #9 The Curious Tale Of Stolen Pets
Now, on to a more relaxing game… The Curious Tale of Stolen Pets is a cute
adventure puzzle game by Fast Travel Games, the developers of Apex Construct. In this game you are tasked in helping your
grandfather solve the mystery of the stolen pets by exploring miniature worlds. Every world is unique and full of interactions
with cute characters and objects. There are light puzzles to solve in every
world without any time limits so you can explore to your hearts content. While you are watching this video, please
leave a like if you found this video helpful so far. #10 Meat Fortress – An H3VR Update
The next one is not a full game release, but an update to an existing game called H3VR,
short for Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. A popular VR game among the VR community because
of its very realistic gun mechanics. Now, in accordance with Valve, they are adding
an update called Meat Fortress. Which is just like Team Fortress 2 except
with hot dogs. And it is also only single player. If you haven’t tried out H3VR yet, I recommend
it if you like trying out all kinds of different virtual guns that feel pretty realistic. #11 After The Fall
After The Fall is a VR action first person shooter with intense co-op gameplay from the
creators of Arizona Sunshine. In this game you have to survive together
with up to four other players against a hostile post-apocalyptic VR world. As fans of the developers Vertigo Games, we
are looking forward to seeing what their past experience with VR will bring to this new
game. #12 Asgard’s Wrath
Asgard’s Wrath is a mythical action adventure game where you play as both a mortal hero
and a living god. It looks like it will be a big game with over
30 hours of gameplay including a story, deep combat and lots of interaction and exploration. An asynchronous multiplayer feature is also
teased but there isn’t much info on this yet. We got excited for this game having tried
out a combat demo during GDC this year. The combat mechanics were very satisfying,
and the graphics looked great. If this game really becomes more than just
a VR melee physics simulator, then we are all in. #13 Acron: Attack Of The Squirrels
Acron: Attack Of The Squirrels is a game made by the creators of Angry Birds VR. This game is a local multiplayer party game
where at least two players play on mobile phones and the other player inside a VR headset. The VR player will play as a tree that needs
to protect the seeds of life, while the other players play as thieving squirrels who want
to steal the seeds. This is looking like a fun game to play with
friends. #14 Doctor Who: The Edge of Time
A VR game based on the popular TV show Doctor Who where an eccentric, yet compassionate
Time Lord travels through time and space to solve problems and battle injustice. In this game you join the doctor on a mission
to save the universe. You will be able to pilot the TARDIS, travel
the universe and visit alien locations. Very curious to see if this will be an interactive
game or more an experience. #15 Fujii
Here’s a zen game called Fujii. It is by the same developers as Cosmic Trip
which we enjoyed a lot. In Fujii you travel a serene, mystical journey
through beautiful landscapes while growing your own enchanted garden. There will be watering, touching and interacting
in musical ways with plants and creatures. It looks like a game to just relax in and
sometimes these are the kind of games we exactly need after a long day of work. #16 Phantom: Covert Ops
Phantom: Covert Ops is an upcoming stealth VR game by nDreams where your task is to avoid
detection. This game has an interesting locomotion mechanic,
one that seems to work very well in VR. The gameplay mostly evolves around manoeuvring
a kayak by actually paddling like you would in real life. With this kayak you have to infiltrate a facility
from the waterways. There are various weapons at your disposal
from a pistol to a SMG to a silenced rifle. This game looks like an unique one that we
can’t wait to see more of. #17 No Man’s Sky VR
No Man’s Sky is an action-adventure survival game. The game is built around exploration, survival,
combat and trading in an infinite procedurally generated universe. The game has come a long way since its release. At the beginning it received a lot of critiscism,
but now the recent reviews are mostly positive. This is why we are very excited to see a free
VR update added. We never played the game before, but now we
definitely will! #18 Pixel Ripped 1995
Pixel Ripped 1995 is a sequel to Pixel Ripped 1989 which was a game we enjoyed very much. It was a nostalgic trip to the early days
of gaming where you played videogames with classic consoles. The developers smartly made use of VR where
many times you would transfer from a 3D world to a 2D world and back. You’ll also play a game inside a game. It’s hard to explain so we recommend trying
it yourself if you like retro gaming. Not much info has been given on the new game
yet, but if it’s anything like the first. We can’t wait. #19 Raccoon Lagoon
Raccoon Lagoon does not have a trailer yet but does have screenshots. It looks like an adorable game where you have
to help a group of sailors build a home on an island. Help with fishing, cooking, farming, mining,
painting and themed decorations. There is also a story to follow. It looks like there will be a lot of stuff
to do in this game and you don’t have to do it alone! You can play with a friend. Chary and I love these kind of games, so we
are very much looking forward to it already. #20 Espire 1: VR Operative
Last, but not least. Another stealth VR game! There is going to be a lot of these type of
games this year, which we think is great. It’s a nice change from the more intense
action shooters. Espire 1: VR Operative is pitched by the developers
as the Goldeneye 007 meets Metal Gear Solid VR game. You play the role of an Espire agent, a drone
operator of the future. The player remotely controls the Espire 1
from far away, this drone mimics the players movement with almost no latency. It sounds interesting to me and as a fan of
Metal Gear Solid, I can’t wait to try out this game. So. Which of these games in this list is an insta
buy for you? And are there any games we’ve missed? Let us know in the comments down below! I think for me, definitely, BoneWorks because
I want to check out its mechanics. I love VR games with advanced mechanics, because
those games are more immersive to me. And also, Asgard’s Wrath. Because I love mythical stories and art styles. Yes, I’m a nerd like that. A special thanks goes to artArmin and a special
shout out goes to his Patreon page – Everyone, thank you all so much for your support
by watching. And as always VR on!
