A THOMAS Cook air hostess who became an Instagram star with her travel pictures has said she has lost her “dream job”  Chloe Bain, 25, who built up 45,000 Instagram followers, is one of the 21,000 employees, including 9,000 in the UK , left jobless after the holiday firm collapsed  “It wasn’t just a job for me it was something I loved,” she said.  “It was my dream job because I had found a job I had fell in love with For me I wasn’t getting up for work – it didn’t feel like work to me as I enjoyed it so much ”  After the news that the company had gone bust, hundreds of weeping members of staff were seen heading into its headquarters in Peterborough for a 10am meeting  Chloe says her and other staff who have lost their jobs have been receiving messages of support  “I feel like everyone has been so lovely messaging all of us family friends and even people that don’t know us sending support and other airlines have been lovely,” she said  As the news broke she wrote on Instagram she has “met some amazing people that I will never forget” MESSAGES OF SUPPORT  “And obviously Thomas Cook you was an absolute pleasure to work for hands down the best company, for all my TC family good luck for the future!!! Onwards and upwards ”  Chloe, from Swindon, doesn’t drive so had relied on her father to take her to and from work and took time to thank him  “My family are very upset for me as they know my heart and soul went into that job,” she said  “I’m a bit different to other crew as I don’t drive so it was my dad that would drive me to Bristol from my home town Swindon at two or three am in the morning and then have to go to work himself for a full day  “This weekend has been a bit stressful I am quite a positive person so I was just thinking it would be ok but of course it wasn’t ”  Staff will not be paid their September salaries and will instead have to claim wages and redundancy payments from the insolvency service online  Despite this, some Thomas Cook employees are continuing to go to work to try and help passengers who have been affected by the holiday provider’s collapse  We pay for your stories!
